Bob “Shadow” Lutz recently announced his retirement from active pit crew duties with Kyle Brinkmann Racing (KBR). At 78 years young Lutz has been fully dedicated to KBR for the past twelve years.  Shadow (His nickname given during his UPS driving days) quickly went from a friend at the RC track to an endearing member of the Brinkmann family.

Kyle Brinkmann  had a successful debut on the Badger Midget Auto Racing Association (BMARA) winged open wheel 600 sprint car series Sunday night July 30th at Angel Park Speedway – Sun Prairie WI. Brinkmann garnered the first “Top 10” finish of his 600 Micro dirt career driving the #5 Bender’s Bar & Grill, F&F Tire World, Ron’s House Cleaning, RMSS, Transport Services LLC Yamaha powered Concept Chassis race car.
